Padma Gives us Her Secrets to Powering up before Punching it Out
"I advice eating something before you workout.... a whole grain English muffin with a poached egg on top, gives me enough protein, and enough carbs. If I leave the house and am not able to workout till later I stick a granola bar or a little yogurt in my bag. If your going to eat a whole meal you want to eat at least two hours before you workout and maybe a little snack a half hour before to give you a little bounce in your step. And then after you finish you want to have some carbs right away." - Padma Lakshmi
