Hottest Workout Trends for 2012!


It’s a new year and a new you so forget the same old workout and get out there and try something new! Here are our top new fitness trends for 2012!

Surfing is an amazing total body workout but getting to a beach might not always be easy or convenient. But now, you can get all the benefits of surfing without ever hitting the beach. The Rip Surfer Ex is a machine that simulates surfing and gives you a total body weight training and cardio workout all in one! It’s a rigorous workout but it will keep you entertained and will give you great results!


Karaoke Spinning is so 2011. In 2012, Karaoke Yoga is the hot new thing. You should never take life too seriously and this class reminds you of that every time you attend. In the class you are encouraged not to make it about being good or being perfect, but to enjoying yourself and have fun! So go belt it out while getting all the normal benefits of your favorite yoga class- we promise you will love it! 


Another hot new trend for 2012 is an anti gravity treadmill. This treadmill seals you in a bubble and lets air in which allows you to walk or run at a fraction of your body weight. The benefit of this is you have much less pressure of your joints- so it’s great for someone recovering from an injury or for someone who struggles with joint pain. The machine can also show you what it would fee like if you lost 5, 10, even 20 pounds, which is great motivation to reach your resolutions!

And a fitness trend from last year that is now quadruple in size – Zumba! Zumba is an exhilarating, effective, Latin-inspired, fitness class that’s moving millions of people toward their health goals and resolutions. This hip shaking, feet rocking, dance-based workout trend is hot and is here to stay in 2012.
