Christie's Stay-Fit Secrets

Christie’s stay-fit secrets were featured in Shape magazine last week, and she talked to us directly about how she continues to defy age and keeps in shape.

I think everybody is always trying to find balance in their lives. It’s a juggling act and there’s so many stresses out there. Everybody I know has a million balls up in the air you know? I think its important to take time for yourself and I feel so lucky to have found dancing. I totally lose track of time when I’m in the rehearsal studio. And in this process I’ve lost those extra few pounds. With dancing you’re not even aware of working out you’re just having fun. So I’m thrilled to have discovered this new love and I think its important to do something that you love as a form of exercise! I dance or ski or ride a bike or kayak. I love being active, and the time when I’m doing something like that gives me the energy to face other things in my life.” -  Christie Brinkley
